Raw C2 Corvette bends its Lingenfelter LS7 muscles
What could be a man’s waste is the treasure of another, especially when it comes to this C2 Corvette. The 1965 was a “basket case car”, as the owner says when he bought it. In the past a Gasser Build used to be, the thing was in pieces and needed serious help. So he gave it exactly that and more, building a really raw machine.
A Gearhead Mansion with multiple garages and taken cars is for the taking.
Firstly, you will notice that the fenders are lashed in three centimeters on each side on the back, plus two and a half centimeters on each side for the front. That movement helps to adjust the wider tires, which in turn help to process all extra power.

You will also notice the big recesses on the back of the body of the C2. The owner says that this helps to increase stability at high speeds. Yes, this car is built for track performance, not just to look good.
Because the ‘fat was almost just a carcass when the man bought it, he decided to go with a serious power. That is why he went with an LS7 built by Lingenfelter performance and pumped 630 hp with a dry carter system and of course ambition.
Backing that is a Tremec Magnum six -speed gearbox with transmission, which requires some skill to drive this ‘fat’. There is also a 350 Dana 44 differential in the rear axle.
While the chassis is in stock but adjusted, the man decided to take the suspension of a C4 and shot it for better handling dynamics. That means that the back is independent with a pair of couple.
Ther interior is nothing terribly beautiful, looks clean, but certainly built for job obligation, not sailing in the city. There is even a rolling bar on the back that works as a cable boom bar.
Watch the video and see that this C2 Corvette is completely business, where RAW Power is combined with a tight handling dynamics for one raw ride.
