St. Bernard ‘Gently seized’ Babysoking really can’t do wrong

St. Bernard ‘Gently seized’ Babysoking really can’t do wrong

Socks and dogs are a complicated pair. They are attracted to each other: socks are easy to wear and dogs love them. That’s how they steal dogs. Sometimes they chew them. Other times they try to eat them. It is a vicious circle.

Recently, one St. Bernard brought his sock stems to another level. He didn’t want to wait until it went to the laundry. He immediately took it out of the source, but at least he was nice:

According to Teddy’s mother, he steals socks because he himself was only a puppy when he could manage it. Fortunately, he recently entered his Forever Homes, which means two things:

  1. The baby with which he now lives cannot do anything if Teddy sees her socks.

She’s in a high chair. She can’t reach her feet … but he can. He often does it. He is very polite about it: as you can see, he is very careful not to bite Runa’s toes while he extracts the sock. He doesn’t want to hurt her, which is very nice of him.

Babies don’t mind. They don’t keep their socks at half the time!

How to keep dogs from sock -loving dogs safe

Teddy can’t resist babys socks, but thousands of other dogs can’t. Whether they steal them during a cuddle time or climb in clothing to get them out, most dogs can be found that steal at least one sock in their lives.

Socks stand up and our feet are one of the places that collect the most “our” scent. That is why dogs love them – although it is really annoying and a bit dirty, it is also well -intentioned.

No matter how good it is, it’s not great. If a dog is allowed unobstructed access to socks, they can destroy them, or they can eat them, which can lead to blockages. Or you pay for new socks or you pay for a veterinarian visit. Not cool!

If you have a puppy that cannot leave socks alone, you must:

  • Keep track of all dirty socks.

  • Often check “place crying”, such as under the bed or in their crate.

  • Make sure you put socks in a basket that is from each or has a lid.

  • Turn your dog around when they dig to socks.

Teddy will probably never let socks go, but as his sister gets bigger, she might start fighting back. As soon as she is out of that high chair, the mold is up, Teddy!
